Great question! You may notice a yellow utility tag securing your latch. This tag indicates the unit is rent-ready and can easily be removed by bending it back and forth along the score line. Be sure to have the email with your gate access code ready, and come prepared to secure your unit with a circular-style disc lock.
When will I receive my access code?
After a brief approval process, you'll get your access code via email or SMS within 2 hours or less of renting your unit.
How do I know my storage items are safe?
Most locations have gated access and 24/7 monitoring, but checking your items regularly is recommended.

How do I schedule my move-out?

Rent is billed on a monthly basis and is not prorated when moving out. We recommend planning your move-out near the end of your billing cycle to maximize your rental period.
Can we host garage sales/yard sales onsite?
Hosting sales or events from storage units is prohibited due to safety, liability, and insurance regulations. The facility is designated strictly for storage purposes only.
Can I sell stuff out of my unit?
Storage units are for personal use only. Using them as a storefront or for business activities violates our rental policies and could lead to the termination of your lease.
Do you have cameras?
Most locations offer 24/7 video surveillance throughout the facility to ensure a secure environment. The cameras cover key areas, which can include gates, hallways, and drive-ways.
What is Tenant Protection, and do I have to have it?
Tenant Protection is a coverage program that provides insurance-like protection for your belongings. This protection offers coverage for your stored belongings against risks like fire, rodent damage, water damage, and theft. For a small monthly fee, your items are protected. Claims are handled with ease through a few simple steps, providing an easy way to safeguard your valuables without needing separate insurance.
What if I have my own coverage?

Are there any tips or tricks when storing items (tarps/pallets, etc.)?
Absolutely! Here are some valuable tips to help you out:
Pallets: Use pallets to elevate your items off the floor, especially in non-climate-controlled units.

Label totes and boxes: Clearly label your boxes to make it easier to find items later.

Do you provide the lock, or do tenants?
Tenants can enhance their security by providing their own locks. To ensure maximum protection, we require the use of circular disc locks, which are significantly more resistant to tampering. For reference, examples of these locks can be found in your Rental Instructions.
Why is there no dumpster to dispose of unwanted items?
Our facility is not equipped for small or large-scale waste disposal, and dumpsters are not provided for tenant use. You are responsible for removing all items from your unit. If you need to dispose of large or bulky items, consider using a local disposal or junk removal service.
Do you allow PODS to be stored?
Some of our locations can accommodate short-term POD storage if they are not placed in a rentable space or in front of anyone's unit. This will be an additional charge. Please contact our office for additional information.

What happens if I get stuck inside the gate?
Don’t worry—if you are ever stuck inside the facility after hours, please contact the emergency number provided on or near the exit keypad, and someone will assist you in exiting safely.
I lost my key, can you cut my lock off?
If you can’t find the key to your lock, please contact a local locksmith for assistance, as we do not offer lock-cutting services. We’re happy to assist by verifying your ownership of the unit to allow the locksmith to proceed.
Can we work on projects/vehicles at the facility?
Units are designated solely for storage purposes. Performing repairs or projects, particularly on vehicles, is not allowed due to safety concerns and insurance regulations.
