Unit sizes
Every size we rent, smallest to largest
Prices, unit counts and location counts are pulled from live inventory each night. Rates vary by facility and availability — check your nearest location before you book.
Not sure which size to take?
Most people size up once and never size down. If you are between two sizes, the larger one is usually the cheaper mistake — and you can move to a smaller unit later at no charge.
- Measure the largest single item first — a sofa or a mattress set decides the width.
- Standard doors are roughly 8 ft tall, so stack boxes and use the height.
- Leave an aisle if you will need to get to things during the rental.
- Storing a car, boat or trailer? Go by length, and check covered parking too.
- Climate control is worth it for electronics, documents, wood and upholstery.
Size FAQs
Before you pick a size
What if I pick the wrong size?
Move to a different size whenever one is available at your facility — there is no transfer fee and no new contract. Ask the manager and they will handle the paperwork.
Is every size available at every location?
No. Each size card above shows how many of our facilities currently rent that size. Open a size page to see the exact list of locations that have it.
How tall are the units?
Most units have roughly 8 ft of clear height, so the square footage on each card understates what you can actually fit. Stack boxes and store tall items upright where you can.
Why does the same size cost different amounts?
Rates are set per facility and per unit — a drive-up on the end of a building and a climate-controlled unit upstairs are not the same product. The price on each card is the lowest current web rate for that size anywhere in the portfolio.
Which size fits a car, boat or RV?
A 10x20 takes most cars, a 10x30 or 12x30 takes a trailer or a long vehicle, and a 13x30 is sized for a pontoon. For anything longer, look at vehicle & RV storage and covered parking.
